IFS (Internal Family Systems) is an applied practice of  understanding the internal system by learning to listen to what is actually, rather than perceptually, happening within us.  We talk to parts of ourselves to gather information rather than talking about them. It is about building relationship.

On the deepest level, IFS offers a process which allows us to release beliefs about ourselves and others that are stuck in fear, pain or trauma.  As we learn to approach our inner landscape with kindness and compassion in an open-hearted way, our brains can develop new neuropathways. The work is profound and effective, often resulting in rapid or sudden shifts and breakthroughs. I’ve experienced the benefits to be transformative and freeing.
